Shortly after 11:00 a.m. today Wendy Smith (Athletics) and Terry Snyder (Library) met in the Cantor Fitzgerald Gallery to play their Round IV match against one another. The build-up of expectations and excitement had begun on email, then spilled to this site, and went as far as Facebook. In the end there could only be one winner and today that winner was Terry. Congrats Terry on the win. Keep on rolling! As she departs the tournament (but not the exhibition!) we’d like to say thanks to Wendy for participating and supporting this exhibition and competition in countless ways.

We should sell tickets to this fantastic Round IV match-up! The head of Athletics goes head-to-head with the head of the Library. Who will win? What will the final score be? Whatever the outcome, this is one for the record books!

I have no doubt…Wendy is a top notch athlete … If I win, it is only a result of luck or her generosity… And my skee-ball skills peaked in 1968, so I am already on borrowed time!

Hmm. I think someone is trying lower expectations.
