I can’t decide if I’m excited for the Orchestra of Failure or intimidated by it. Probably both. Join us tonight at 8 in Ryan Gym to cheer on student athletes and Shaun El C. Leonardo in feats of endurance!
Can you run this man into the ground? Or maybe you just want a black football jersey with his number on it. He has your number, and now you can have his.
Please share with friends, and anyone who just needs to run. After 8pm. You!
Last night artist Shaun El C. Leonardo presented his work to students and faculty. Wednesday evening, 8pm in Ryan Gym, he presents The Orchestra of Failure. Win, lose, or fail, walk away with a football jersey —if you can still walk.
Artist Shaun El C. Leonardo arrived at the gallery today to play some skee-ball and check on a delivery of jerseys for his collaborative performance work The Orchestra of Failure taking place in Ryan Gym on Wednesday, April 11 at 8:00 p.m.. The jerseys, created specifically for this work at Haverford, were printed to Shaun’s specifications by R & M Sporting Goods in Long Island City. This is the same company that printed the jerseys Shaun played football in as a kid. Come out and participate in the Orchestra with Shaun and you can walk away not only with an artifact from the performance work, but a piece of the artists own history.
